2005 Books

January

1. Ironman January 1995; 231 pages: The one article that resonated with me was about eating healthfully, being responsible for your own food intake from buy, preparing and packaging for eating.
2. The Eye of the World Book One of the Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan 814 pages: This book was excellent. Definitely a different book and yet it reminded me of Lord of the Rings and Mists of Avalon.
3. The Adventure of the Missing Three-Quarter The Return of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle 17 pages: I find Doyles style of writing refreshing. I did not guess the ending or that it dealt with sports or the mentioning of Holmes use of drugs.
4. Writing Your Authentic Self by Lois Guarino; 162 pages: Easy reading. Good writing projects.
5. The Stranger at the Palazzo DOro and Other Stories by Paul Theroux; 296 pages. A very strange book. Each story has mention of sexual content. Not a book I would recommend.
6. Sunset Magazine, February, 2005; 124 pages.
7. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J. K. Rowling; 734 pages. A captivating book full of adventure and intrigue. I didnt know the ending until I got there.
