Words of Mine ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It Was Too Go To Be True – More Tales of the Mighty Max If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough. -- Mario Andretti, 1940-, Italian-born American car racer I knew it couldn’t last but this morning the Mighty Max must have decided I was feeling okay because he was into everything and on everything while I was meditating. I kept one eye slightly open just to keep track of the little stinker so he wouldn’t hurt himself or break something. Things were basically okay until Max jumped up on my dresser and found the small opening to the back of the furniture and one kitten thought he would go check it out. Think again my cute little fur child. I went to pick him up by the scruff and he slipped from my hand and slid down the side of the dresser where he ends with claws holding onto the edge of the dresser (all I can see are his eyes and ears) and the scratching of his claws attempting to find a foothold until he realizes he can reach the carpet. Okay, I guess I need to find something to block that opening. I can imagine Max getting back there and not being able to get back out again. Max did come and sit in my lap but was off again on another adventure. Just Another Day I didn’t sleep as well last night and had nightmares. No, no octopus nightmares. I was up earlier than usual. I did a bit of housework but the rest of the day has been spent taking it easy. Max and I have played fetch, read books, watched soaps and taken naps. Blessings Today: Michael and Max Currently Reading: “The Da Vinci Code” by Dan Brown. I’m not going to make a link to the bio of the book as I’m sure most everyone has read it by now. mz. em ![]() 6:40 p.m. - Thursday, May. 11, 2006 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
