Words of Mine

Organization Day

Today is organization day of the garage. Huge sigh here as this room has been in disarray since the day we moved in over five years ago. The job today is due to the fact our landlord has authorized the installation of a new garage door. The current one is falling apart and will fall on us one of these days.

The garage door company called this week to let us know that the door was to be put in and we had told them when they came out to inspect the door we were going to need a week to make room for them to work in.

Space needed, beginning at the front of the entrance to 10 feet back. Yikes! We have a lot of junk and unorganized stuffed to deal with and it's going to take most of the weekend if not all of it to make the space the workers are going to need.

Should be fun to find what we have hiding in boxes (I'll be watching out for spiders) and items than can just be thrown away or recycled. So, keep us in your thoughts as we tackle this project as it's needed to be done for a long time and I know we are going to feel a lot better once it has been completed.

Thanks everyone for your notes and comments on my renewed writing endeavors.

Quote of the Day

There is nothing fiercer than a failed artist. The energy remains, but, having no outlet, it implodes in a great black fart of rage which smokes up all the inner windows of the soul. Horrible as successful artists often are, there is nothing crueler or more vain than a failed artist.
